This year’s edition of the FORUM “BRATZIGOVO – THE STONE FLOW OF TIME” organized by the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria, Sofia Region, the Chamber of Builders in Bulgaria and Bratsigovo Municipality is dedicated to the Bulgarian-Italian cultural exchange related to immovable cultural heritage and art.
The main organizers this year are the Embassy of Italy in Bulgaria, the Italian Cultural Institute and Confindustria Bulgaria.
Partners of the project are also the Regional History Museum of Pazardzhik, the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy and the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria.
The general sponsor of the event is “Glavbolgarstroy”  The Forum will take place in the period from 26 June to 2 July 2023 with a series of different exhibitions, lectures, practical workshops and cultural events dedicated to immovable cultural heritage, archaeology and arts.The theme this year is focused on buildings for education and culture, as well as revitalization and energy efficiency in buildings with the status of immovable cultural property.

Especially for the official opening on 26 June at 14:30. Regional History Museum Pazardzhik will exhibit the famous Thracian treasure from the village of. Ravnogor, Bratsigovo Municipality.
The program on the first day starts at 14:30 with a press conference of the organizers in the conference hall of the RHM Pazardzhik.
At 15:30 in the hall of the museum will be an exhibition of the Ravnogor treasure accompanied by an overview presentation by Adriana Bozhkova on “Archaeological studies in the Bratsigovo region and the surrounding area”, a musical program by violinist Orlin Tsvetanov and a cocktail.

The extensive program of the forum includes a series of lectures and presentations by experts in the field of immovable cultural heritage from Bulgaria and Italy, three exhibitions, practical workshops and an official round table on “Revitalization and energy efficiency of buildings with immovable cultural heritage status. One of the highlights of the program is always the children’s architectural workshop, which will be held on July 1 from 13:00 to 15:30 at the National Community Center “Vasil Pelteshkov”, Bratsigovo. The theme this year is “Classroom of the Future”.
Children will model the classroom of their dreams.
The workshop is suitable for children aged 6 to 18.
Many prizes, gifts and surprises are provided for the participants not only for work but also for a real fun holiday.

On 1 July from 9:30 to 18:00 will be a thematic day dedicated to lectures and practical activities on the topic “Clay, lime plasters and concrete” led by arch.

Watercolour plein air under the guidance of arch. Belin Mollov

On July 1 from 16:00 to 19:00 in the courtyard of the Historical Museum of Bratsigovo will be held a watercolor plein air under the guidance of arch. The theme of the painting is “Popov Houses” – the building that houses the exhibition “Bratsigovo Architecture and Construction School”.

The organizers will provide all necessary materials for painting.

An important part of the professional activity is the official Round Table on “Revitalization and Energy Efficiency of Buildings with the Status of Immovable Cultural Heritage”, which will take place on 30 June at 14:30.
at the National Church “Vasil Petleshkov”, Bratsigovo . Invited are the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, the chambers, the National Association of Municipalities, chief architects and mayors, universities, NGOs and experts in the field. Moderator – Desislava Dimitrova.

Confindustria Bulgaria continues cooperation with the museum Museo di Arte Diffusa (MAD) and Alfredo la Salle to promote contemporary Italian art, organizing the next stage of the exhibition “Contemporary Italian Art in Bulgaria”. Curated by Fabio d’Aquile of Museo di Arte Diffusa (MAD), Latina, it has already been presented in Sofia and Plovdiv, and will be on view at the Vasil Petleshkov Community Centre in Bratsigovo from June 26 to July 2.

The exhibition “Architecture for Education and Culture” with the author Belin Mollov will be opened on June 27 at 13:30h in the community center of Bratsigovo. It presents thirty panels with watercolor paintings by arch.Mollov, complemented by historical reference about the buildings and their designers.

On the last day of the forum on July 2 at 11 am on the stage of the Chitalishte “Vasil Petleshkov” will visit TEATRO IMAGGINE di Venezia with the production in the style of Commedia dell’arte “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”.
