“Tiscali is a group of choir members from Sardinia united by a mutual, intense and unchanging passion for music and singing.
The choir’s specific interests are focused on music and folk singing in particular, with a repertoire that rediscovers songs from Sardinia’s musical and poetic culture, from events of a religious nature, in particular the songs of Holy Week or those of the Nativity prayer, but also those related to social themes, satire, entertainment, traditional mountain songs or based on classical works.
A peculiarity that has long characterized the Tiscali Choir is that related to the liturgical accompaniment of the Dorgali, which is presented in particular during liturgies on the occasion of weddings and those of traditional Sardinian festivals, during which chants from the Mass are presented in Latin, polyphonic or Gregorian, but also traditional songs in the official Sardinian language and liturgical songs in Italian.
The participation is in collaboration with the Sardinia Club in Sofia.
